Fund Raising Items
Scouting has always relied on fundraising to support its mission. One of our learning objectives is to teach Scouts about eCommerce, basic salesmanship and advertising, which will strengthen their leadership skills. All donations are greatly appreciated. But supporting the program via item purchases helps our Scouts establish value for their work.
Thank you.
Camp Cards are a great way to support Scouting while saving money. Each card offers a variety of local discount codes that you can use throughout the year.
Popcorn sales are a key fundraising initiative for our Pack. Each purchase helps us raise funds to support Scouting adventures, enhance our program, and uphold the values and mission of Scouting. And also provides a tasty treat.
Be sure to enter the scout id at checkout. Don't have it, use our Pack ID ????????????. This will insure Credit is given to our Scouts.
Pack Flag Campaign
Cub Pack 014 is a newly established pack in 2024, located in the Everglades District of the South Florida Council.
As with any new organization, there are some essential items we need. These will help our pack establish its identity and foster a sense of pride among our members. We appreciate your support in helping us reach our goal to cover the costs of:
U.S. Flag
Pack Flag
8' Parade Flagpoles, (two)
Eagle Flag Pole Topper
Cub Scout Flag Pole Topper
Pinewood Derby
Nothing is more iconic in scouting than Pinewood Derby. It's a signature event for the Cub Scouts program, and millions of Scouts participate each year. The Pinewood Derby has fostered creativity, innovation, and amicable rivalry among Scouts for 70 years.
First introduced in 1953 by Don Murphy, a Cubmaster in California.
The original rules for the Pinewood Derby required each car be made from a single wood block. Shaped painted and balanced to specification.
Pioneering equipment and materials
Those familiar with Scouting know that one of the most exciting and competitive activities is pioneering. This involves building gateways, bridges, and other impressive structures using only raw wood and ropes, just like our forefathers did before modern materials.
Unfortunately, resources aren’t as readily available as they used to be, especially in a city like Miami, FL. While scouts strive for sustainability, foraging for wood isn’t an option. Many mills can provide us with the materials we need, but this comes at a cost.
Please help us preserve the spirit of competition and the art of pioneering by supporting our efforts to acquire the necessary supplies.
Want to support the Scouts in reaching their goals? We welcome any contribution. Every donation goes directly to the youth, helping cover expenses for outings, adventures, and program development.
